Immersion Camps
Cultural Immersion Camp gives students the opportunity to be immersed with American students learning STEM (science, technology, engineering, math), history, and sports — all with an engaging and exciting curriculum.

Leadership Camp
Leadership Camp gives international students the opportunity to learn leadership skills and identify their own leadership style through various experiences and assignments, taught using ISP’s leadership curriculum.

Northern California (Santa Clara) & Southern California (La Puente)* *Junior Camp is in La Puente only.

Goal
|
Cultural Immersion Camps give students the opportunity to be immersed with American students* learning STEM (science, technology, engineering, math), history, and sports — all with an engaging and exciting curriculum that provides the student with a stimulating learning environment. Students will be active throughout the week and depart with a certificate of completion. *Junior Camp students will experience immersion with American students at a private school.

Homestay
|
Students are placed with local host families who provide breakfast, dinner, and daily rides to and from camp.* ISP host families are excited to meet their students and start a lifetime friendship. *Junior Camp students will also be provided with lunch.
|
Groups
|
Groups can arrive on any day of the week, although ISP recommends a Sunday arrival with a Saturday departure. Students will stay with screened host families who will provide transportation to and from the camp location. Students within a group will stay together and will not be combined with students outside of the group. Groups must have a minimum of 15 students.
|
Who can participate
|
Beginning to intermediate English speakers. Cultural Immersion Camp is designed for students ages 11–15. Junor Immersion Camp is designed for students ages 6–13.

Price
|
$900 per student for 6 nights and 7 days, which includes host family placement, 3 meals per day, daily school and excursions, and airport pickup and dropoff. Airfare and insurance are not included. Payment is made in full 30 days before camp starts. Groups receive one free chaperone for every 15 students.
|

Afternoon: Hollywood tour — Visit the famous TCL Chinese Theatre, Dolby Theatre, and the Hollywood & Highland entertainment landmark; see the handprints of famous movie stars (including Jackie Chan, Donnie Yen, and Huang Xiaoming) along the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Leadership Camp provides international students with the opportunity to learn leadership skills and identify their own leadership styles through various experiences and assignments, taught using ISP’s leadership curriculum. Students will be engaged and challenged throughout the week and depart with a certificate of completion and the knowledge of how they can be strong leaders in their schools, in their communities, and in their future.

Groups
|
Groups can arrive on any day of the week of their choice, but a Sunday arrival with a Saturday departure is preferred. Students will stay with screened host families who will provide transportation to and from the camp location.

Individual students
|

Who can participate
|
This camp is designed for students ages 12–17 who have a good command of written and spoken English.

ISP offers discounts for chaperones.

|

Airports & Travel
- Upon arrival, each ISP camp student can receive a personal airport welcome and pickup in a luxury car with a professional driver.
- ISP provides emergency numbers in case students have issues upon arrival.
- Departure airport drivers are available upon request.
Airport selection:
- For camps in Santa Clara, please fly into SFO (San Francisco).
- For camps in La Puente, please fly into LAX (Los Angeles).
- For STEAM camp in New Jersey, please fly into EWR (Newark).

ISP Host Families
- Students are placed with local host families who provide breakfast, dinner, and daily rides to and from camp. ISP host families are excited to meet their students and start a lifetime friendship.
- Before arrival, each student receives a comprehensive host profile, including photos of the host family.
- All host families must pass criminal background checks and undergo annual online training.

Security
- ISP requires criminal background clearance for all host families, camp counselors, and instructors.
- We personally visit all host families annually to ensure the security and stability of the host home.
- ISP is fully licensed and insured and can name your company as additional insured, if requested.
