Winter & Summer Camps

ISP offers winter and summer camps for students 10–20 years old. Students receive ESL instruction, tours of universities, field trips to amusement parks and museums. ISP accommodates groups of students of 20 or more participants. Students live with local host families and receive room and board. Our ESL program is designed for beginning English speakers and our curriculum is fun and engaging. Students receive a Certificate Of Completion at the end of camp. ISP can customize programs for groups based on budget and needs in both Northern and Southern California. Camps can extend to two or three weeks.

ESL Classes

The ISP ESL curriculum was developed in conjunction with TESOL-certified university teachers and focuses on two components: reading/writing and listening/speaking. Students are given a pre and post test to determine fluency levels. The ESL program is interesting and dynamic, and incorporates fun, hands-on activities like writing scripts, performing plays, singing, and storytelling.

American Culture Class

This class teaches students about American culture and includes holidays, American currency, the U.S. school system, and American dining etiquette.

Excursions

Safety is our number one priority. Our program is designed to highlight areas of interest in Northern and Southern California. Students spend time at American high schools to meet new friends and see many wonderful sights.

Host Families

Our camp host families are excellent, high-energy, fun, and thrilled to show their students interesting places in their areas.
